Healing Perspectives offers a holistic programme. Depending on the individual challenge, you can choose from different methods, such as BrainWorking Recursive Therapy (BWRT®), Coaching, and Mindful and Therapeutic Photography, to overcome your inner challenges and rediscover yourself. 

 

BWRT®  (BrainWorking Recursive Therapy) is a 'software update' for your uniquely developed nervous system. We eliminate unwanted emotional responses triggered by negative past experiences and replace them with desired responses. This can significantly improve your enjoyment of life and energy flow. More


Mindful & Therapeutic Photography is a spiritual journey that helps you to stay in the here and now. It promotes deceleration, enables you to recognise the beauty of life, experience new perspectives and (re)discover your authentic self in a creative way. A picture is worth a thousand words. More


Coaching enables you to gain new perspectives, get to know yourself better, accept yourself and practice self-love. We open doors to new possibilities and support you on your path.

What to Expect

BWRT (BrainWorking Recursive Therapy)

The advantages: BWRT is known for its speed and effectiveness. It can often bring about positive change in just a few sessions. BWRT aims to eliminate unwanted emotional responses, such as fears and phobias, and replace them with new, desired responses. It does not require trauma re-experiencing, is versatile based on scientific knowledge about the brain and the human psyche and supports you on your path. More

Mindful Photography

Mindful Photography has many benefits, including

  • Being present- promotes positivity, reduces anxiety, and improves, while dwelling on the past or future can trigger negativity.

  • Slow down. When we are stressed, we tense up and aren't "receptive" to the finer things that make life worth living

  • Awe and beauty reduce stress levels, increase cytokine levels, and promote happiness. Cultivating wonder requires openness and a beginner's mind.

  • Sharing in a judgment-free environment creates connectedness, which has healing properties.

  • Strengthening self-care and self-compassion

  • (Self-) reflection & personal development - getting to know yourself better and gaining new insights

  • Can serve as certainty anchors against fear and anxiety - while too much focus on creating security impedes our ability to act in the moment

  • Face life where it is- Accepting situations to have the mental capacity to move forward.

  • New Perspectives to win and choices to cultivate

  • Enjoying the Process and not focusing on the result (there is no right or wrong)

Hello

My name is Catrin MacMahon

As a qualified psychologist with further training in the systemic field, BWRT® and nature therapy, I apply a holistic view to mental health and well-being.  My great passion is photography.

Unconsciously, I have long used photography as my mindfulness and meditation practice, as I often find it difficult to sit still, especially in times of heightened tension. By discovering the beauty of nature and noticing it every day, I find it grounding, return to the here and now and gain peace, strength and access to inspiration. Through the Mindful Photography training of the Look Again© method in the UK, I have deepened and scientifically substantiated what I already practise intuitively.

Discover with me transformative paths to healing and personal development through creative expression and possible changes of perspective. No matter if you are a beginner or a professional.  I accompany you on this unique journey to more mindfulness, inner peace and personal development. More
